Subjective, the collaborative project from Goldie and James Davidson, release debut LP; Act One: Music For Inanimate Objects

On January 18 2019, Subjective – the collaborative project from dance pioneer Goldie and esteemed engineer / producer James Davidson – released their debut LP, Act One: Music For Inanimate Objects. Ahead of this, the pair have shared new single ‘Rift Valley’.

‘Rift Valley’ sees Subjective maintaining their imaginative, free-flowing mindset – seamlessly blending soaring strings and marauding synths with regular collaborator Terri Walkers’ trademark vocals.

The track’s music video comes from David Wexler of Strangeloop, and is the final instalment in the trilogy, following on from the ‘I Saw Her Last Summer’ and ‘Re-Entry’ videos. Like its predecessors, it’s a mind-bending, kaleidoscopic viewing experience – with vibrant conversations between Wexler and Subjective informing their approach.
