Alternative R&B artist Millie Gibson, based in New York City, is back with her first release in over two years – her brand-new single, ‘Ripple’. Known for her soulful blend of synths, keys, guitar and rhythmic percussion, Millie’s music often weaves in elements of modern jazz to create a captivating, groove-heavy sound. Her songs tell stories of personal experiences, love, heartbreak and self-worth.

Reflecting on the inspiration behind ‘Ripple’, Millie explains, “My main inspiration for writing ‘Ripple’ was to audibly capture what my soul was going through during that time of my life. When I think of this song and what it truly means to me, I sense an energy of depression but also an ounce of hope that pushes through the ‘ripple effect’ to encourage positive change within myself and those around me.”
Since releasing her debut EP, Own Drum, in June 2022, Millie Gibson has performed across New York City and London, including opening as a support act for Ego Ella May.
