Parisian duo Picard Brothers got their start making beats for French rappers, which led to a debut on Pelican Fly record label in 2014. Producing and writing songs for Beyonce and Kehlani, the pair have most recently won a GRAMMY for their contributions to “Electricity” by Dua Lipa and Silk City. The Picard Brothers are instrumental in the development of rising star Yebba’s sound, having produced and written several songs with her alongside Mark Ronson.
The Picard Brothers are in high demand thanks to their contemporary revival of classic French dance music, building a new sound that borrows from the past while staying firmly rooted in present textures and tones. Their remixes of Disclosure, Flume, and fellow Frenchman Myd are lively capsules of the bright and revitalized energy behind their complex production style.
With a slew of recent originals, the Picard Brothers show no signs of slowing down. After releasing “Best Of Me” in August, the pair tapped Jay Christensen following his viral drone bowling alley video to direct the visuals for the track. The euphoria of the song is brought to life in a drone-shot house party of partying teddy bears (yes, you read that correctly).
