HUNGER {Gravity – Mushroom studio session}

Alternative Pop/Rock band HUNGER from Vienna, Austria first formed in 2014 with the intention to create a dark and cinematic sound, with solid song structures and melodies disregarded in favor of the tone and evocation of the music.
Trio Daniel Rumpel, Johannes Herbst and Lucas Fendrich who have been friends since childhood, first started creating most of their songs in a borrowed apartment where they built up a studio.

After the release of their single ‘Bubbles’, the band has amassed over five hundred thousand views on Youtube as well as heavy rotation on Austria’s Hitradio Ö3, the New Music Friday Playlist on Spotify, and the Global Viral 50 Chart. Even though they draw inspiration from artists such as Imagine Dragons, Coldplay, The 1975, The Neighbourhood and 30 Seconds To Mars, HUNGER manifests their own sound with solid beats, heavenly vocals and tasteful melodies.

Watching their latest video, Gravity (Mushroom studio session), the trio’s artistic side becomes more apparent than ever. The song starts off with fierce beats followed by heartfelt lyrics. The scenery is set to a dark, mysterious milieu which pays tribute to their brooding evocative sound.
