Kabelo Motsamai, known to fans as Prince Kaybee, once dreamed of a football career with Bloemfontein Celtic, but a knee injury set him on a new course. Surrounded by his father’s treasured African classics and traditional jazz, he found his calling in music production. Ben September, hailing from Sasolburg, crafts a unique blend of alternative R&B, Afro-pop and soul. He first caught attention through collaborations with Prince Kaybee, Tyler ICU and The Big Hash. Inspired by artists like Brent Faiyaz and Daniel Caesar, Ben’s songwriting explores love, vulnerability and the journey of self-discovery.
