Currently based in Canada, U.S Girls is the moniker of American musician and recording artist Meghan Remy. Originally formed in 2007 as a noise-pop project, U.S. Girls music on a variety of independent labels in both the United States and Canada before signing to 4AD in 2015, and releasing Half Free , which garnered a Juno Award nomination for Alternative Album of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2016, and was a shortlisted finalist for the 2016 Polaris Music Prize.
‘In A Poem Unlimited,’is her upcoming new album, to be released via 4AD on February 16th 2018.
