KARMACODA share mellow music video for ‘Lo-Fi Girl’

Award-winning pop outfit KARMACODA have released the quirky video for Lo-Fi Girl, animated by Shubhranshu and Shephali at the Entangled Studio in India.

Stream/ buy: Slow Down, Melt and Catch Fire LP

KARMACODA is the combined talent Jessica Ford (vocals), Brett Crockett (aka B. on vocals and producer) and Japanese-American multi-instrumentalist Eric Matsuno (bass and other unique elements).

On Lo-Fi Girl’ we’re treated to dreamy vocals set against a stream of smooth, mellifluous instrumentals. The video is an interesting mixture of aesthetics – manga style animation merged with elements of Victorian-era aesthetics. The muted tones and slow-moving visuals combine and beautifully compliment the audio.

B. explains: “We reached out to Shubhranshu and Shephali at Entangled Studio because their artistic vision for the music video fit perfectly with the sombre, even sad, emotions conveyed in the song.  We’re thrilled by the results.”

‘Lo-Fi Girl’ features on the Spotify playlist POP_GROUND.fm
