Tobias Bergson’s Everything I Do EP Sets the Stage for a Bold Future in Electronic Music

It’s been a week since Tobias Bergson unleashed his Everything I Do EP on June 6, 2025, through PLAYY. Records, and the Austrian producer’s latest chapter is already resonating across the electronic music landscape. Bergson’s credentials speak volumes: over 180 million streams, endorsements from titans like Don Diablo and Lost Frequencies, and releases on prestigious labels such as Armada and Universal Music Austria. His live presence at events like Austria’s Spring Festival, paired with coverage from DJ Mag, Mixmag, and YourEDM, plus frequent spins on Spotify Editorial playlists, cements his reputation. At just 17 when he began, Bergson carved a path through deep house and progressive influences—think Deadmau5 and Ben Böhmer—and this EP feels like a launchpad for what’s next.

The Everything I Do EP spans five tracks, each a testament to Bergson’s evolving sound. Clear Your Mind hits with driving percussion, Amarant drifts into calmer waters, and One Day experiments with breakbeats, showcasing his range. The standout, Everything I Do, fuses French house vibes with Theia’s haunting, Lana Del Rey-like vocals—a track that’s both a nod to the past and a step forward. After a week, it’s clear this EP isn’t just a moment; it’s a foundation. Fans of Tinlicker or Nils Hoffmann will find familiarity, but Bergson’s knack for blending introspection with dancefloor energy hints at bigger things on the horizon.

Reflecting on the title track, Bergson noted, “Everything I Do’ was a very spontaneous song. At the time, I was really into French 79 and Kid Francescoli, and I really wanted to create that kind of vibe—French house, but not just a copy of something else. The chords are very dreamy, and the overall sound of the song isn’t what you’d call mainstream, but that’s exactly what I liked about it.” He added, “Theia is extremely talented and has that special something in her voice that gives the song an incredibly good vibe. I’m really glad I made this track with her.” Looking back a week after release, this collaboration could steer him toward more vocal-centric projects—imagine pairings with Julia Church or Elderbrook. Or, with One Day’’s bold edge, he might chase club-heavy innovation, echoing Fred again.. or Overmono. Whatever’s next, the Everything I Do EP positions Tobias Bergson to redefine electronic music’s future.
