Born in Los Angeles and now based between there and London, Chloe Star works as a singer-songwriter, visual artist, and tribal advocate rooted in her Persian and Indigenous background. She grew up between San Bernardino and Los Angeles and first connected with songwriting through journaling as a pre-teen. Rolling Stone included her track ‘Bad Habit’ in its 2025 Best New Music feature, and she has earned write-ups in CLASH Magazine, 1883 Magazine, EUPHORIA, and EARMILK. On stage she has commanded main-stage sets at London Pride, the New York Pride Festival, Back Lot Bash in Chicago, Out & Abt in New York, and The Dinah in California.
The clip runs on punk attitude and staged comedic violence, with stunts coordinated by Nate Horowitz, SAG Stunt Coordinator. Quick cuts and upbeat punk drums push the story forward as a murder-mystery short film, tracing the moment Chloe Star discovers her girlfriend cheating and the disorder that follows.
The song hooks listeners with its catchy chorus, and a surprise dance routine breaks out featuring Chloe and the cops, choreographed by Ryan Ramirez, whose credits include Christina Aguilera, Jessie Murph, and JLO. Peak tension arises as Chloe escapes custody and makes her way into the home of the crime scene and the events of a murder mystery takes place and we get to watch what really unfolded.
