MIN t Releases ‘Last Day’ as Second Single from Upcoming Album ‘Before The After’

MIN t released ‘Last Day‘ on 28 April 2026, premiering via CLASH Magazine. Second single from Before The After out 8 May, it arrives after ‘Hope‘ and its METAL Magazine video. Martyna Kubicz under the MIN t name began classical piano at seven in Wrocław, added musical theatre and ballet, then moved into jazz, electronic, pop and soul as a teen. She has supported HVOB, Angel Haze, Jess Glynne and Vitalic, hit over 300 festival dates at Reeperbahn Festival, Off Festival, Orange Warsaw Festival, Open’er Festival and Y Not Festival, plus a November tour with Saya Noé and OIEE. Berklee-trained and the first Polish woman mentored by Susan Rogers, she co-produced Shot To Pieces with Leo Abrahams in 2021.

Last Day‘ brings forward a gentler, more exposed side of her work. The self-produced and mixed track that was mastered by Conor Dalton, lyrics co-written with sister Patrycja Kubicz, sits inside her genreless blend of electronic, pop and R’nB. Drawing on Aphex Twin, Autechre, Charli XCX, D’Angelo, FKA twigs and Aretha Franklin, it confronts life, death, destruction and existential questions. The heavy themes gain balance from the breakbeat foundation and MIN t’s smooth vocal lines, making it an easy fit for listeners into Bicep, Overmono and FKA twigs.

MIN t had this to say: “The end of the world as we know it is approaching fast. Or maybe it’s already here? It’s easy to get lost in the flood of cruelty, disasters, and wars. They quickly become mundane, blending into one grotesque vision. Meanwhile, the illusion of comfort only serves as a reminder of our helplessness. The song ‘Last Day on Earth‘ is about that very sense of boredom that refuses to fade, and about giving up the fight—even for one’s own survival.”
