Mazare Teams with IMPVLSE for Explosive New Single

Mazare, hailing from northeast Italy, returns with ‘Unholy’, a new single featuring German metalcore outfit IMPVLSE, released via Universal Music Italy. Over the past few years, Mazare has attracted consistent support from electronic mainstays such as SLANDER, Illenium, Seven Lions, Said The Sky, Dabin, Koven, and Don Diablo. Releases on Monstercat and Insomniac Records have propelled his Spotify streams beyond 35 million. Raised on his father’s Pink Floyd, U2, and Genesis records, Mazare shifted toward electronic music after discovering David Guetta’sWhen Love Takes Over‘ in 2009. His sound bridges heavy metal-electronic hybrids and melodic pop-rock, drawing on The Prodigy, Noisia, and Bring Me The Horizon to craft a distinctive, globally resonant style.

Building on his recent dive into heavier sounds, Unholy’ explodes as a thrilling collision of DnB and Metalcore. IMPVLSE’s lead singer delivers a vocal performance that sweeps from raw vulnerability to fierce intensity. Mazare’s production crackles with energy, weaving distorted guitars through a whirlwind of uptempo, Drum and Bass-driven percussion. Unholy’ promises to captivate fans of Rage Against the Machine, Evanescence, and Bring Me The Horizon.

Mazare shared: “As with all the tracks in this EP, the goal with ‘Unholy‘ was to blend my two favorite genres, metal and drum and bass. This one is specifically inspired by Bring Me The Horizon and their ability to shift seamlessly from heavy riff sections and screams to super catchy, big chorus sections. I tried to recreate that structure and feel while writing the song, and IMPVLSE absolutely nailed the performance on both the clean sections and the heavy ones.”
