Last week, Jairic released the ‘Still AF Gospel’ video, the hard-hitting finale to his n=40 EP from December 2025. Raised in Detroit and now based in Cannes, he started by making beats for local artists before going solo and taking full control: writing, producing, and performing. He draws on Nas, Wu-Tang Clan, Detroit’s underground edge, funk classics, 60s rock, and film scores to shape his tracks, reaching nearly 2 million streams. His performances include Château Les Alouettes, Villa Balbiano, and the Azur short film premiere in Paris. The n=40 EP also earned coverage from Wonderland Magazine, NOTION, CLASH Magazine, EARMILK, and NPR Music.
‘Still AF Gospel’ showcases Jairic’s lyrical precision, his verses cutting through volatile, thrashing production with a delivery that feels commanding and unfiltered. Directed by Vansh Luthra, the video features him in preppy plaid shorts and a blazer, projecting a youthful, slightly arrogant swagger that channels the inner-child energy at the core of the track. The visuals unfold like a layered personal manifesto. Ritualistic, almost cult-like gatherings frame his “gospel” codes as sacred and binding. Chaotic party scenes with beautiful women sipping drinks and bodies moving under low light embody the reckless adult world his children will eventually face. Quieter, confrontational shots of Jairic staring at his reflection in a mirror while rapping underscore the call for honest self-examination. Together, the imagery mirrors the song’s fatherly directive: preserve innocence while staying ready for whatever comes, turning personal principles into something visually urgent and cohesive across the n=40 project’s restless, controlled intensity.
Jairic shared: “‘Still AF Gospel’ is a love letter to my children: a reminder to learn relentlessly, love deeply, and never lose the edge this world requires. It’s where my father instincts meet the principles I live by. These codes are my faith. Protect absolutely. Reflect honestly. Strike only when necessary. This is gospel, still as f**.”*
