Emerging producer and artist Ayk recently unleashed his fiery hip hop single ‘Demon In The Mirror’. The single is another powerful offering from Ayk and pushes past the confines of genre with its experimental, psychedelic approach. The track packs a massive punch, and has received support from industry heavyweights like Charlotte de Witte, DJ Harvey and James Lavelle.
Additionally, the track has been elevated further with ferocious remixes fromSom.1 and Trash Cells. The groove-induced, percussive heavy remix by Som.1 has garnered support from legends like Don Letts and Tom Ravenscroft, while Trash Cells’ haunting, deconstructed reimagining was championed by the one and only Laurent Garnier.
Ayk is based in Gilan, Iran and has been honing his craft for the last five years. He’s part of the Twilight Marauders musical collective, and dropped his debut offering on prominent Belgium-based label R&S Records, cementing his position as an artist to keep a close eye on.
