She picked up the guitar and began writing and singing her own music ever since. The singer’s dedication led her to tour and collaborate with good names such as Cold Chisel, Joel Quartermain (Eskimo Joe), Ash Grunwald, Emma Louise, Keb Mo, and Colin Hay.

Leanne’s new single ‘Everspin’ was recorded in the span of one day. It was inspired by her trip to the mall coming off of tour, and the varied emotions, and fatigue that she felt at the time. She adds, “Everspin is about being stuck in a blur of activity yet you still appear to be standing still,” says Leanne, “It’s about putting in all your efforts to be seen and heard yet those efforts continue to go unnoticed. Stuck in the noise. It was inspired by how I was feeling at the time about the music industry and how difficult it is to earn a living as an artist.”
