Kimono Loco releases colourful video for ecstatic track, ‘Big Boy’

South-London based group, Kimono Loco, shared their music video for their hyper-energetic indie-pop track, ‘Big Boy’. Released via Nothing Important Records, the single is the first we get to hear from their anticipated upcoming EP.

Kimono Loco consists of James Hofbauer on vocals, Alejo Sonnenberg on drums, Chris Godfrey on lead guitar and finally Luke Hamlin on the bass guitar. Together they bring forth a sound that’s an eclectic mix between indie-pop, new-wave, dance and disco. They could unmistakably be compared to the likes of The 1975 with their 80s inspired use of synth and vocal delivery.

Speaking of, ‘Big Boy’ sounds like an updated version of The 1975’s ‘Love Me’. Even though Kimono Loco shares similarities with the aforementioned group, they undoubtedly have their own signature sound.
The video for ‘Big Boy’ sees the group having light-hearted fun across a variation of colourful backgrounds.
