Renowned for his exceptional production skills, Thy Young is celebrated as one of Sierra Leone’s foremost producers. His impressive body of work includes collaborations with notable artists such as Kontri Boss, Dom B., and Swadu Natasha Beckley. Noteworthy accolades include clinching the Best Music Producer award at the Sierra Leone National Entertainment Awards (NEAs) in both 2020 and 2021. Among his notable productions is the chart-topping ‘Champion’ by Shadow Boxxer & Mellow Seven, featured on CNN Inside Africa. Drawing inspiration from icons like 2Pac, 50 Cent, Jimmy B., and Amie Kallon, Thy Young’s music strikes a chord with fans of Rema, Davido, and Obongjayar, hinting at a promising trajectory in his solo career.
