When Cimo sings ‘branding all this hope in your mind’, the sheer magnitude and precision involved in this exasperation become clearer and listeners are encouraged to purge their hearts as well.
Singer-songwriter Cimo relays his thoughts on the song’s connection to relationships: “Closed The Door’ is about a relationship coming to an end. It’s about being courageous enough to speak up and accepting the consequences of making the decision that it’s over”.
