Seth Tabatznik Announces Third Album With Powerful Single ‘Watching Over Me’

Seth Tabatznik emerges once again with ‘Watching Over Me’, arriving 29 October 2026 via Moth Music (Mother Of The Heart), the latest in a monthly single series paving the way to his third album. Raised in London and now nestled in the Western Cape mountains of South Africa, Tabatznik has already captivated over 600,000 Spotify listeners since his 2024 debut. His second album, Awakening Embers, earned acclaim from NOTION Magazine, CLASH Magazine, and EARMILK, and included a mesmerizing Deep Forest remix of ‘Shining For Love’. His live shows, from sold-out nights at Boschendal Estate in Cape Town to Green Note in Camden, have become signature moments. With guidance from Nick Mulvey and early lessons from Rainer Scheurenbrand, Tabatznik crafts a sound that weaves acoustic folk and medicine music, infusing heartfelt harmonies and honest lyricism with a deep respect for the earth, uniting timeless traditions and modern production through personal journey and spiritual exploration.

‘Watching Over Me’ begins with gentle acoustic guitar plucks beneath the shadow of somber pedal steel, as Seth Tabatznik’s reflective vocals draw listeners in. The chorus lifts with subtle acoustic percussion and the warmth of a female duet partner, gradually building into a final chorus awash with shimmering guitars and intricate acoustic layers. Despite its nearly six-minute length, the song remains buoyant and heartfelt, a stirring power ballad sure to resonate with fans of Passenger, Cigarettes After Sex, and Gregory Alan Isakov.

Speaking on the single Seth shared, “’Watching Over Me’ is a love song to an oak tree. It’s about loving someone but never making the time for them. You think about them and they’re part of your day dreams, but in reality the time spent together lives in the future.”
